Class Description

Save your spot in this hot and colorful weekend kickoff class. Join Melissa Stephens in her studio and discover the magic of encaustic monotypes. Have fun learning how to make designs and patterns using a hot plate and colored wax paint in this 2-hour class. Monotypes are a mirror version and one-of-a-kind print. Explore making patterns with foam and rubber stamps. Be amazed by what is possible with recycled materials. Make lines and marks using wax pencils. Remember, creating together strengthens your heART! The last 30 minutes of class, you can relax on Melissa's back deck to toast your masterpieces with a bottle of champagne and hand-dipped chocolate covered strawberries. No previous art experience necessary. Must be 18+ years to make art, and proof of 21+ for champagne.

Cancellation Policy

Classes cannot be refunded, but you can contact Melissa at least 24 hours before class time to reschedule.
