Wake Meditation is part of Melissa's Mediterranean Series that features images of sea, ocean, lake and river waters. 20% of all sales are donated to The Ocean CleanUp Project to reduce 95% of all ocean plastics by 2045.

Close Encounters is a diptych that may be hung side by side or unilaterally. The design is geometric and somewhat of an optical illusion.

Rebuilding is a small abstract encaustic painting featuring a linear background with greens, blues and burgandy; the top layer is yellow and orange paint that has been geometrically carved to reveal the lines and colors beneath it.

Ewa Forest is the artist's interpretation of traditional Hawaiian symbols for a forest and trees.

Interplay is an encaustic painting with depths created by the accretion method of painting. The painting relates to how people form bonds with one another.
