Class Description

Similar to scrapbooking, photo transfers tell a story. Whatever your story is, deliver your message with (he)art by learning how to transfer images and words onto your encaustic paintings. In this 4-hour class, Melissa Stephens teaches you how to duplicate your photographs and drawings to create delightful one-of-a-kind artwork. Learn how to transfer black & white imagery and text to create special messages. Join Melissa in her studio to playfully explore design and patterns with help from a photocopier, carbon paper, chalk pastels, charcoal and more. Receive hands-on assistance and watch her demonstrate how to add color with pigment and pastels. Students will paint up to 3 paintings. No previous art experience necessary. Must be 18+ years of age.

Cancellation Policy

Classes cannot be refunded, but you can contact Melissa at least 24 hours before class time to reschedule.
