Class Description

Let your creative juices flow in this amazing 5-hour class where you will learn how to print monotypes using encaustic paint, R&F Pigment sticks on Gelli plates. Monotypes are a mirror version and one-of-a-kind print. Class begins discovering the thrill of working with luscious R&F Pigment Sticks, stencils, stamps and recycled materials to create beautiful art. You will have amazing and immediate results. The second half of class takes place in Melissa's studio exploring patterns and color combinations on a heated palette. Students will experiment with monotype techniques to create stunning artwork. All materials including: stencils, pigment sticks, paper, stamps, stencils, brushes, gel printing blocks and more. No previous art experience necessary for this class.
