Class Description

In this class all that glitters is gold! Put a new shine on your walls by learning how to apply and manipulate metallic media with encaustic paint. In this 5-hour class, you will discover how to add materials like: gold leaf, leafing pens, metallic paint, transfer foil, metallic paste, powdered pigments and lustrous oil pastels. In this class, the golden rule is: more shine! Melissa Stephens will teach and demonstrate all of the techniques that you will need to add glam to your gorgeous paintings. Through a series of layering, scraping and embedding metallic materials, you will complete your class with up to 3 new paintings.. Beginning Encaustic Painting, or other encaustic experience is helpful before taking this class. Must be 18+ years of age.

Classes cannot be refunded, but you can contact Melissa at least 24 hours before class time to reschedule.
