Hope Lives: Art for ALS
This specially curated exhibition benefitting the ALS Association - Golden West Chapter, is my response to my sister’s ALS diagnosis in July of 2020. ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) is a neurodegenerative disease with no known cure. It causes the neurons in the brain to lose connection with a person’s muscles, stealing a person’s ability to walk, talk, eat and (eventually) breathe. The ALS Association is an organization that helps and advocates for people navigating this brutal disease.
